- 200 gms Refined Flour
- 10 gms Ajwain
- 1 boiled Potato
- 1-2 Green chilies Chopped
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Black Salt
- 3-4 tbsp julienne Ginger
- 4-5 tbsp Green Coriander Chopped
- as needed Mint Sauce
- as needed Tamarind Suace
- 250 ml Oil for frying
- 4-5 tbsp nylon sev
- 1 Cup Beaten Curd
- 4-5 tbsp pomegranate kernels
- as needed Water to knead
Steps to make to make Aloo Papadi Chaat
- Take a bowl, mix refined flour, ajwain seeds, 2-3 tbsp oil and salt. Add water gradually and prepare a tight dough. Cover and leave it for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, take small portion of dough and roll them with the help of some dry flour in your hands.
- Roll the dough ball to form large thin disc. Prick all over with fork. Cut out small circles to form papdi of it with cutter.
- Take a wok & heat oil in it. Fry the small papdis until they turn golden brown in colour.
- Place the fried Papadis in a large plate. Add chopped boiled potato and green chilies over it.
- Spread the beaten curd all over the papdis.
- Now, sprinkle chutneys, salt, red chilli powder, black salt cumin and Chaat masala all over.
- Garnish your Chaat with chopped green coriander, shredded ginger, sev and pomegranate kernels. Your Aloo Papadi Chaat is ready!
