Ingredients and spices that need to be Get to make Mushroom Tikka masala:
- Mushroom ๐ Marinade: for 15 to 30 mins
- 200 gms Mushroom
- 2 tbsp Curd/Yogurt
- 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 3/4 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
- 2 tsp Besan/Chickpea flour
- 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Dried Fenugreek leaves/kasoori Methi
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- Salt needed
- Cook & Grind:
- 2 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 10 Cashews
- 1 Onion
- 2 tsp Ginger Garlic paste
- Salt needed
- 1 Big Tomato
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- Water needed
- Mushroom Tikka in pan:
- 1/2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Oil
- Marinated Mushrooms
- Salt
- 2 Bayleaves
- as needed Kasoori methi
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
Steps to make to make Mushroom Tikka masala

- Add all the ingredients under Marinade & add cleaned mushrooms. Mix & let it sit for about 15 to 30 mins.
- In a pan, add Oil, Cashews & Cumin seeds. Then add Onion, Ginger Garlic Paste, salt to cook the Onions faster. Cook until raw smell goes.
- Then add Tomatoes & cook till mushy. Add Turmeric, Chilli, Cumin, Coriander & Garam masala powders. Let it cook for 2 mins. Remove from heat, cool & Grind to fine paste.
- In another pan, add Butter & Oil to fry the mushrooms. Once hot add the mushroom & fry till it is completely cooked. Set aside.
- In the same pan, add oil if needed. Add Bay leaves & fry for a minute. Then add the ground Onion Tomato paste. Cook for 2 mins. Add Water if needed.
- Then add the prepared Mushroom tikka into the sauce. Cook for 5 mins.
- Add Sugar. Check & adjust Salt. Then Garnish with Coriander or Dried Fenugreek leaves/Kasoori methi.
- Enjoy the delicious restaurant style gravy with Roti, Chapathi or Rice.
